Women's Health Forum 2022
The mob here at the TAAHC Women's Health Research Translation Network Community of Interest are excited to let you know that we will be holding a 2-day Women’s Health Forum in Cairns on July 20th and 21st.
Day one will be conducted both in person and virtually, at the Cairns Hospital Auditorium, with presentations from network members and invited speakers. Day two will be a networking “round-the-world” style event, to be held at Rydges Esplanade Resort, next door to the hospital. Registration is FREE. Both days will be fully catered.
We are very excited to invite colleagues from across the country who conduct research in the field of women’s health, or who are part of an organisation focussed on women’s health, to share their knowledge in this field and to help us articulate the major gaps in knowledge in Women’s Health Research in Australia.
We extend this invitation to all clinician researchers, academic researchers, mid-career and early career researchers, consumers, not-for-profit organisations, and Government Departments to join us, present their work, engage in networking, and workshop the needs of our research community and the needs of Australian women.
We would particularly like to invite rural and regional colleagues and Indigenous health researchers. We have allocated speaking slots for our MCR and ECR colleagues so please consider submitting an abstract. We will also have poster sessions for everyone to share their work and network during the breaks.
Registration is free and opens 9th May 2022. The closing date to submit an abstract is 6th June 2022. Click on the links below to learn more, register and submit your abstract.
