The Tropical Australian Academic Health Centre is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2019 Research Seed Grants.
Seven translational research projects will share in over $300,000 in funding. These projects confront some of the most serious health challenges facing the northern Queensland region, including mental health, vector borne disease and infectious and chronic disease.

TAAHC is investing in these research projects to increase knowledge and capacity across the region and to deliver real improvements in service delivery and patient care.

35 applications were submitted to the scheme, reflecting the breadth and depth of translational research activity across northern Queensland. Details of the seven funded projects can be downloaded below.
